10 MW biogas from chicken manure in the Ukraine
Ellmann Engineering has completed the planning of the largest biogas plant in Ukraine. Our
client PJSC "Mironovsky Hliboproduct" chose our CENTRIGAS ® technology for its 10 MW
biogas project in Ladyschyn.
The plant will produce 10 MW of electrical energy plus steam and hot water by using as
substrates chicken manure, flotation sludge from the wastewater treatment plant and a small
amount of silage. The design work is complete and accepted by the client who started the
construction in May this year. The plant will be phased in stages for full running by the end of
2018.
